Receiving the E. A. Isakson Leadership Award from the Atlanta REALTORS Association is an honor that speaks to the work I care about most. Leadership in this industry has always been about service, responsibility, and the willingness to stand in the gap for the people and communities we serve.
I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to make sure more people have a fair shot at homeownership. For me, it’s about more than just business; it’s about creating a housing market that actually works for everyone and gives families a real sense of stability.
This guides my work in policy, advocacy, and community partnership. It is also what inspired me to help spearhead the Atlanta REALTORS® Impact Foundation during my presidency in 2022. It’s truly rewarding to witness how we are now supporting scholarships for the children and grandchildren of REALTOR® members.
Getting this award makes me realize all over again that none of this happens alone. Without the support of my incredible team at Sovereign, my husband and children, and our extended village, it all would not be possible. They are the ones who make it possible for me to show up every day and to do this work passionately.
My focus remains clear: leading with purpose to advocate for fairness and creating pathways for families to #LiveSovereign legacies that last while continuing to work towards a more inclusive and equitable future for our city.
